Boarding a late night train at Liverpool Lime St with a guitar (and blue hair, perhaps) seems to guarantee that the other passengers will loudly demand an impromptu concert, however tired the singer, and then assert their right to offer friendly criticism. However, they were at least an enthusiastic audience - far more so than the dour folkies earlier in the evening.
