The Rhine Falls, Switzerland

An 8am start this morning so a 7am breakfast....to allow us plenty of time!

A gorgeous drive through Germany where there was plenty of snow, on mountains and fields. Then onto Switzerland and the Rhine Falls which were breathbreaking! We took a high walk over the falls and wish we’d had longer to explore further and higher but what we saw was really exhilarating. The sun shone and the temperatures rose to 14degs too. Our driver has been amazing today.

We’re now in our main hotel and it’s excellent. Dinner was good, and we’re with a happy crowd making conversation easy. Always a plus.

Already looking forward to tomorrow.. a railway journey to Chur, the capital of the highest Swiss canton, Grisons. We will visit the famous holiday resort of Arosa. And then there’s more after that!
