Just another day

There was hardly a crumb to eat in the fridge apart from a yellow pepper covered in black spots and some strawberry conserve. A quick trip to the supermarket remedied that.

I took mum for a drive to Walltown on Hadrians wall. It's a tricky week for her with 14th and 22nd (Valentines day and Wedding anniversary), dad's been gone 2 years and 4 month now and although most people think nothing worries her much, I know the pain is still very much there, especially when these sort of anniversaries and dates come by. She's off to Benalmadena for 3 weeks very soon and I wish I was able to join her for part of it.
