You Know What They Say

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Sometimes a bit tricky to reach, however.

My friend Susan, owner of Oakfields, and of most of the horses who live there, tells me this is Ciara. She and her sister (?) Ava are three year old fillies. They are newly occupying the paddock that seems almost always to contain the young ones who more often than not are interested in saying hello - which suits us just fine. These two race to the fence when they see us, which is wonderful!

The extra is of Ciara and Ava - Ciara left, Ava (the somewhat lighter colored one) right. Ciara has in her mouth the grass she snagged from the other side of the fence.
