Candle.

Today I arrived in Liverpool with Photosoc.

The journey took a bit longer than expected but that always seems to be the case with these sorts of things. The coach journey was mostly enjoyable apart from the ridiculous heat coming from the heaters!

Once we got to the hostel we decided rooms. Was in a room with Anu, Kassia, Eve, Hava and Rachel.
Shortly after we headed out to the centre of Liverpool. Spent a bit of time shopping with Mark. We also went to a hidden away Starbucks. I think we both would have preferred to find an independent coffee shop but it was cold outside and we didn't know much about Liverpool. We discussed the holidays in detail. I don't think we'd really thought about how different the next four or so weeks would be from the last 10 or so.

Then we headed to La Tasca for a very tasty three course Christmas meal. Initially there was a bit of hassle with me being a vegetarian (note to self: must tell people before getting to the restaurant.) In the end it turned out to be no hassle once the right people knew and I had quite a bit more food as I was the only veggie in the group. Was a bit surprised considering the group was around 43.

Anyway it was a lovely meal.

Followed by a couple of drinks at O'Neill's we headed back to the hostel around 1:30am. Time goes so quickly!
