Jam Tarts

Really called Scarlet Elf Cup. ( Sarcoscypha austriaca)

Fairly common in Western Britain and Northern Ireland. Its bright colours make it easy to spot in woodland litter.

My grandsons who found them this morning decided to call them Jam Tarts. They do know, however, that they are not for eating.
