... 16th century manor house incorporating earlier buildings from the 12th and 13th centuries.  Now a working farm it was once the chief seat of the Ridley clan and possible birthplace of the martyr, Nicholas Ridley, who burned at the stake with Latimer at Oxford in October 1555.
