Up, up and away

Drove to Southampton airport early this morning to get the 8.40 plane to Jersey. Lots of other planes were cancelled because of fog - many staff were in the wrong place, but blessedly ours went on time. We arrived in Jersy by about 9.10 and wandered to our hotel to drop off the bags. Then a saunter down to the seafront to see Elizabeth Castle in the distance. Strolled quite a way along the sea front and caught a bus back.
