St James Public School

I've been thinking for a whlie I would photograph this one for a Derelict Sunday.   Its been closed for 10 years now.

There was an interesting story at the time as a campaign was underway to attempt to save the school.  However it was hijacked by a local drug dealer as cover for his business.  He had a campaign poster outside his house and organised a petition.  So people turned up at the address at all times of the day and night supposedly to sign the petition but the real reason was to purchase drugs.
