Shadowplay

When Lucie’s Uncle Richard (our son) worked in China for a couple of years, one of the things he brought back was this stencil to make shadows on the wall. The Chinese love their shadow puppets and we went to a wonderful shadow show in Beijing when we visited.
Lucie found she could make shadows on the wall using a torch and the stencil.
If Rich had been here he would have used it as a teaching opportunity to tell her about the physics of light and shadows.
