Lunch meeting

Today we met S and G for a leisurely lunch at The Vineyard.  S is W's god daughter, she got married last year.  Sadly we weren't able to get to that wedding as it was too close to our planned New Zealand holiday.  She is now glowing with a well advanced pregnancy, we hope to see the baby when we return to Cape Town at the end of our stay in South Africa. 

It was lovely to see S looking so happy and well.  The Vineyard is a great venue for lunch, sitting outside under shady trees with a great view across the gardens to Table Mountain behind.  There are tortoise in the gardens, and lots of birds.

Later, we went shopping for essentials, as we pick up a hire car tomorrow and set off to explore other parts of the country.  There was a splendid sunset.
