Seaside - Gran Canaria

We have missed a massive trick in the UK by allowing Sundays to become just another shopping day. Here in Spain, as we drove to our local Hypermarket we were spoilt for choice when it came to parking spaces. But no choice when it came to food purchases!  It was closed every Sunday.  Luckily a local supermarket was found nearby so no one starved!

The afternoon was spent on the beach below the house and later beside, and in the pool, at the house we are renting here this week.  

Needless to say it has been very warm and sunny here again today.
