Colour at last

Mild day, and a few of the bulbs are starting to really get moving, including these golden crocuses.

Spent a bit of time in the garden mainly on part 1 of a project to rejuvenate a very overgrown lilac tree. We took out the oldest limb and some of the height but tried to leave enough of a shape, and enough buds to have some greenery and flowers this year. Hard work, but rewarding.
