Light and shadows

Sometimes things go right but other times things you think that went wrong turn out ok. Only thing that could be said if this image.
Set up everything to capture the image and then I realised that I did not change the lens setting to Manual. But when I had a look later I saw this which I liked a lot more than the perfectly exposed shots that I captured on the same day
