Riches

Saw these beautiful gold jewellery pieces in an antique shop, and stopped to browse. I was captivated. I wondered about their histories, some over 100 years old, still in the original boxes. Who bought them? Why and for whom? Were they treasured or rejected? Why are they here now? Did the owner fall on bad times, did they forget? Was it a sale following a death?
We have so much 'stuff'. We hoard, accumulate it. Some is good as it has memories. Of memories pleasures can be garnered, people called to mind, with a smile or tear.
Don't wait until you only have memories left of a loved one.. Tell them how much they mean to you now. Carpe diem.
