Aurora Borealis!

So tired after a long day and an even longer evening but the most wonderful experience and I have spent the day with great friends, seen the most stunning views and have literally spent the day laughing till I cried.

We left the hotel this morning just after 8 am for the Golden Circle tour which included Pingvellir National Park, Geysir in Arnessysla and Gullfoss waterfall in Grindavik. A quick bite to eat and then off to the Northern Lights tour where we stood on a mountain, absolutely frozen at midnight, until the first wisp of the Aurora Borealis started.
