To Hibernate or Not to Hibernate...
For those of you who may not realize, squirrels can hibernate on command. When it is too cold out for them, they can go into a state of inactivity and metabolic depression or what we call, hibernation. Weather warms up and they will become active again. Genius really but what is cold for some is not cold for others, so that is why we see some squirrels out on the frigid days - like today. I do believe this guy was regretting his decision!
Tomorrow is a holiday, Family Day, and my daughter and I are off to the cinema to see Alita. I am looking forward to the recliner seats and the popcorn (so bad for me but it is part of the experience!).
Enjoy your Monday, whatever you do!
