Got back to Ireland on Thursday eve - was very glad to be back. Was pretty shattered though.

This morning I got up relatively early and cycled over to the RDS for the Knitting and Stitching Show. Kah Foon had raved about it and got me a ticket. There were lots of stalls selling all things crafty, plus some exhibitions of quilts and embroidery. Man it totes sounds like an old lady thing. But one of the best exhibitions was of modern embroidery including embroidery done on a car door.

I only lasted a couple of hours at the show then it got crazy busy so cycled home in time to hop in the car with Hannah, Camille and Caroline and go on a trip to Glendalough. It was gorgeously sunny and we got some stunning views as we drove through the Wicklow mountains. Had to stop a few times to enjoy the surroundings.

When we got there we went to the loveliest pub with the most incredible literary collection, including some first editions. When we finally made it to Glendalough the sun was setting so it got pretty cold but was still nice and Caroline taught us a song on the way round.

Then back in the car and back to Dub. Had a lovely eve in in front of the fire. Mmmm. Nice.
