Corsican hellebore
Back to more February-like weather, with a sharp shower cooling things off this afternoon, just as I was about to go out to the garden with the camera. Once it was over I took this quick blip of a Corsican hellebore, just coming into flower. This one has never entirely thrived in its current location, but does ok all the same, and as they apparently don't like to be disturbed I think we'll just leave it where it is. The flowers are very pretty, and demonstrate how effective a quiet shade of green can be. They look lovely against a surround of snowdrops, which may be tomorrow's blip.
