I had to push through briars and prickly blackthorn in wild windy weather to find this stone . It was wild and solitary out on the cliffs , crashing waves, fierce gusting winds, wonderful!

Aedan has been coaching the younger school rugby players and they scored a terrific victory today. They won the school's final. More celebrations.

Catherine gave me a bucket full of mussels- far more than I can use- so I've been handing them out to all the neighbours. Jackie called around in the evening and we shared and hour over a glass of wine; she got to see the whales and I'm so jealous.
