Stunning Strolls!

After a bus ride from Douglas to Port Erin, we headed off on a coastal walk. We quickly climbed the hillside to the dramatic hilltop structure of Milner's Tower. As we continued onwards along the Raad ny Foillan, hugging the coastline, the views back to the tower and the Calf of Man beyond were sensational. 

Our route off the top of the cliff took us to the hidden Fleshwick Bay where we had our picnic. A stroll back into Port Erin in the sunshine meant we couldn't resist continuing along the coast in the opposite direction! 

We enjoyed climbing up and over the cliffs to the tidal narrows of Calf Sound where we were able to see Calf of Man much closer than before. 

A bus trip back to Port of Erin and then onwards to another bus back to Douglas...and now back for a cosy evening in, cheeks glowing from all those strong coastal winds!!
