Sandton Stars
It was the clearest skies I've seen in South Africa for many weeks so about midnight I went out on our balcony at our hosts house in Bryanston, Sandton to take some photographs. Although the sky was cloudless it wasn't helped by a waxing crescent moon throwing out a lot of light.
The blipfoto shows the stars nicely under the roof overhang.
This afternoon we weren't able to get out until about 2pm as our hosts had builders fixing a leaky roof. After they'd finished we did a three mile walk around Bryanston Golf club followed by a swim to cool off.
We've just printed off our boarding passes ready for tomorrow nights flight.
