Think of the money!

I spoke too soon when I said last night that I was looking forward to having two more days off. I got a text at five to seven this morning asking if I wanted to do a shift. The driver who does the Cumbria run on a Monday and Tuesday had phoned in sick. Thirty minutes later I had showered, washed my hair, dressed, seen to the cats and driven to work. I’m working again tomorrow, so I keep telling myself to think of the money!
