Making a Statement

A wet and rather dull day, brightened by seeing Joanes House as I passed by.

I am left wondering is this ‘Joanne’ spelt with one ‘n’ or a derivation of the name ‘Joan’ , or perhaps neither as there is no apostrophe. Perhaps I need to wait and ask whoever it is who lives at this intriguing house!
