Waffles

I have a few favourite smells: peeling an orange, toasting hazelnuts, fresh bread out of the oven - but the smell as the waffle batter hits the iron is right up there. 

(Do I not have an non-food favourite smells? Hmm. Yellow roses and honeysuckle, that's about it!)
