The saga of the removal of the bridge at Laindon continues.
According to one of the workmen, they had to bring in two smaller cranes to support the part-demolished bridge until they could reconfigure the original crane for the weight of the bridge.
Apparently the big crane costs £1000 per hour and it's been there since 3am on Saturday morning.
