ALL IS REVEALED
A painting by the artist, of the artist, who decorates the walls and windows of Skipton so well.
A day which started badly but ended much better. I cleared stuff out of my car boot ready for the Big Medical tomorrow and thought I’d take a look at the spare tyre. It was covered in slime, silver and wet. As were the jack and other car necessities tucked around it. I could only deduce that what looked like an aerosol can had erupted next to the tyre. G had to get the tyre out as the screw had been tightened so much I had no chance of shifting it, and underneath was a pool of clear liquid. Goodness knows what it was as the can was indecipherable. I left the tyre and all the innards of the boot to dry off at home and set off for town.
A bit of shopping, a lucky find in the sales of jumper and warm jacket. Then a nice lad at the garage checked the car tyre pressure, and a trip to the car wash spruced Patsy up a bit. But showed a long scratch under the passenger door which had it happened when I was in the car, I could not have missed it!
Then the restorative part .......... to Hellonwheels for the rest of the day ........... and relax. Thank you S x
Home now and the spare tyre has been reunited with the car and there is nothing more I can do.
Except worry!
