Tea for two

Appearances can be deceptive. This all looked delicious but the bread and the cakes were totally stale. So disappointing as this was a birthday gift from a friend.

To cut a long story short the hotel in question were very apologetic (this has been happening quite a bit apparently) and the next thing we knew we were being whisked away in a car to their sister hotel in Kensington for a top notch tea and bubbles. How we laughed!
