Home surprise

We were rather rushed out of our apartment this morning as the cleaners were standing waiting at 10.00am as we threw our stuff into bags.  I think those last late night drinks meant we were not up and organised quite as early as we'd hoped...

So our goodbye to Wells-next-the-sea and to my lovely sister and family was rather hurried.  I hope they are also home and safe, Alice (aged 17) is learning to drive and was driving all the way back to Peterborough. 

This lovely sight greeted us when we got home.  The iris bulbs have bloomed and they are my favourite flower.
