Feldkirch...
A free day today so we walked into and wandered round our town.
We chose to leave the main road and climbed high to walk along the much narrower roads lined with old traditional houses. And always with snow covered mountains in view and so close. My photo looks down on an area of the town we later explored.
Once down, we enjoyed the cobbled market street and ached promenades. We discovered a small pub with a garden by a river to have coffee, beer and toasted sandwich lunch.
Then the walk home...and my phone tells me we’ve walked over 22,000 steps and the equivalent of 12.2 k. All in wonderful sunshine and temps of 14 degs.
We’ve just been entertained after dinner by traditional Austrian dancing. Brilliant and really funny too...those ledder hosen ...
