It all started here....

Over the last 45 years I have popped in and out of academia, in all sorts of roles. Since 1966 I've done 5 university based qualifications. I've taught a bit, and currently examine in a university-related institution, and chair a UK committee providing education and learning in a theological context.

Which considering that none of this is my core day-job, says something about the dilettante nature of my mind.

However, this is where it all began. On an October day in 1966. David Hume Tower in the University of Edinburgh. Moral Philosophy 1. With a tutor who was arrogant, rude, and full of himself. Surprising I stuck with it really.
