This is the end result of many days of hard work!

Who would have thought that salt dough decorations could be so time consuming and stressful!

This was my favourite of the batch which I have kept for us (hehe!) and the rest are being given out as presents to a lucky few.

Amelie did the handprint and painted them but I went round the edge in white, varnished them, varnished them again, covered the backs in glitter mixed with PVA and then varnished the backs and finally tied a ribbon through and wrote Amelie's name and date on them.

Now the rest need to be wrapped and finally this task is over!

I think our tree is looking quite busy...perhaps no more decorations need to be made next year. Unless that is a job for Amelie's nursery! Yes, thats a job for them.
