RAINY CAMELLIA

What a dreich day. 

Hubby Dearest I said, I fancy going for a walk.  I've found a nice little stroll through Ashmeadow woods in Arnside, shall we see if we can find it!.

Hubby says:  mumble mumble mumble OK.

Looked out the lounge window thinking, and saw a glow from just beyond Arnside so thought not too bad.  Got out the front door and it was raining, but just a bit.

Typical of course, by the time we got there it was persisting it down so "let's go for a coffee then".  Couldn't get in anywhere at all.  Grrrrr darn half term.  Oh well.  Weather no sign of stopping so drove round through Silverdale to Carnforth and back to Grange.   

Had a very nice lunch in the Hazlemere, at least we could get in there, busy but not queuing at that time.

After we got home, what the heck do I blip today.  So sadly it's one of our camellia's again looking very pretty with raindrops all over it.  One bush has totally bloomed and is now on its way out so looking bedraggled, the other just beginning to burst with buds.

Tried getting the usual Drip on a Stick, but every time I found a suitable one a gust of wind blew it off!!!!!

If I can find it will do Ashmeadow Wood at another time on a weekday when everyone back at school and work I think.  

Now going to settle in the for day and look up some more woodland walks not far from us.
