Country cottage

I was with our local walking group this morning on a short walk starting from Escot Park.  It was a mainly grey day but luckily no rain.  We wandered along many lanes and passed through a large number of farms with the smell of manure lingering around us.  The village pub in Talon looked very historic from the outside, it was closed though.  We passed this thatched cottage with its thatched shoes on display on the roof.  We didn't stop for lunch at the end as it was half term and very busy but three of us had a good lunch elsewhere.
