Catkins

While the last ceilings were being plastered we snuck out for a walk in the bright sunshine albeit with quite a cool breeze. Saw these catkins and thought “there’s today’s blip” and a wild Wednesday too. Nice light on these flowers.

Quite fortuitously, Cailleach has suggested a theme of Trees in recognition of Joe Tree, founder of blip, as we mark the third anniversary of blip in its current form. Thanks for hosting Cailleach.

Very pleased with the quality of the work, two very pleasant people too. Decorator starts next week. Electrician follows on with second fix. Another couple of weeks camping out!

Spent most of the afternoon on this and that, lots more practice of the two songs I’m doing tonight at the Folk club. We completed all the registration forms for enduring power of attorney. Got some more quotes for kitchen flooring, bought a new subscription for the OS Maps online with a 50% discount courtesy of Country Walking Magazine and many other “just” tasks.
