Patina

The patinas that I use are all created with various acids and a blowtorch. One turns from sculptor to painter as part of the process. This piece is ready to seal and wax.
I took off for home and ran smack into a big snowstorm. When the snow reached 4 inches and building quickly, Ruby la Rouge and I got off the freeway and are now ensconced in motel to start again tomorrow. Big trucks were throwing huge globs of icy slush and I'm in no mood to slide off the road blind. Besides, it's only 14 degrees out there. Brrrrr!
