Plaited loaf

I made a four-strand plaited wholemeal loaf with date syrup instead of sugar to see how it turned out. I think it turned out well.

I don’t know why they make such a fuss on Bake Off about making plaited loaves. It seemed easy to me. Maybe they’re not allowed to look at the internet during the technical challenge.
