Chilling in Chilham

I love the black and white timber buildings that surround the fifteenth century square in Chilham village.

Chilham Castle is a grand house with gated entrance sitting at one side of the square, there are two pubs, vintage tea rooms with ladies wearing polka dots dresses, quirky gift shop and a church with stain glass windows.

A few historic dramas and feature films have filmed in the village in the past as well as Top Gear in 2011. I can’t help mentioning filming with my Kent Film Office hat - sorry!

A relaxed afternoon with Mum and Dad. A gentle stroll around Chilham village and a visit to the tea rooms. Much discussion today on various topics. Change is afoot. Hopefully soon! Watch this space...
