Strange Spring.

I am not sure if it is happening everywhere but things around me are certainly happening rather out of order.   This Daffodil is an example, it is one of the miniatures we have at the Lodge.  They usually flower after our large flowered ones at home.   Keeping in mind home is several hundred feet higher than the Lodge, I didn't expect colour in the buds.

The large flowered varieties are still very much in bud, no colour and buds straight up.  As you can see this has lowered its head and is already showing colour.   I was thinking the Daffs at home were going to be early but this has sort of gobsmaked me.
