Matauri cove

We took the girls to Matauri bay today and it turned out to be the best day of the week, lots of sun and very hot. There is a long sweeping sandy beach, which I have blipped before and we spent some time there in the water. We stopped for a snack and then spotted a Portuguese Man'O war, with a tail aboy 2 metres long right by the spot where the girls had been playing. We decided to move round the bay to this small cove and had some fun climbing on the rocks and paddling along the beach
