Up on the Roof

We have finally managed to get the builders back to the farm to finish off things starting from the burst water pipe last winter.
They laid the new floor inside to replace the damaged carpet and also fixed the roof where water got in during a heavy storm recently, just after they had painted the ceiling :-(

I must admit to a certain (no doubt irresponsible) satisfaction when I see people doing slightly risky things without tying themselves in knots adhering to modern safety requirements. 
I don't see how they could do much with safety harnesses up here anyway. An old style builder once told me he was in more danger of tripping over the ropes than off the roof.
