Robin's return

I haven't seen 'my' robin for over a month now.  A lot of the small birds who live on the reserve have been very put out by all the felling and scrub clearance that's gone on since Christmas.  Admittedly it needed doing, though if it hadn't been left so long this game-changing clearance could have been done more sympathetically perhaps.  I thought I would never see this little one again.  As far as s/he was concerned I thought the departure was permanent.

However, here s/he is, today flicking over from what is presumably a new home on the other (and inaccessible) side of the river.  Heart-warming to see.
