Tree Stump Textures

More snow forecast, but it didn't materialise. Instead, a wintry mix which felt quite wet. Also, overcast and flat light. Still, that suited this old worn stump and I got excited by the textures in the wood.

I had an earlier version that I didn't blip without snow, but this one adds extra interest with white patches to break up the image. The balance is in favour of the wood, so that's the predominance, snow being a supporting element. What's the difference between dominance and predominance - need an etymologist.

Editing was complicated by the black holes and gouges in the wood requiring local adjustments to balance the exposure.
