Greenelf Cup

Whenever I see a fallen branch stained green I can't resist turning it over in the hope of seeing the fruitbodies of the Greenelf Cup fungus (Chlorociboria aeuginascens). Nine times out of ten its not there but this morning I was in luck. These ones are quite old so have lost their initial cup shape. It usually fruits in the autumn so I was quite surprised to find it.
