Watching the world go by

Had too many beers yesterday. Hangover wasn’t as bad as I was expecting and managed to take Kilda out in Sutton Park again for a long walk. It’s J’s mum’s birthday today and she was well enough to go out for a meal. Left Kilda in the house and met up with J’s brother and his family for lunch. Came back and had a quick sleep before loading up the car and heading back home. J’s dad is having a cataract’s operation in the morning, so she is staying down to look after him and her mum next week. Kilda is very good in the car and we only stopped once. At least she could look out of the window when she wanted to for most of the way back unlike driving in the dark on the way down. Got stuff ready for the morning and took her for a run in the gardens before going to bed. Long day.
