Street light

Had the rep from Sharps bedrooms coming around tonight to look at the study fit out. He turned up 20 minutes early while I was having tea so not a great start. Left him to measure up while I finished after Kilda had barked at him cause she got to the door before me as he was early. He almost left after 5 minutes when he stated that he usually doesn’t leave without an order as he was the senior technical rep for the area and does so much business for Sharps. After explaining that he owned 2 flats in the New Town and our ceilings were higher than his it seems that Sharps are not able to make the best use of our space by going high enough. The final straw was then he stated that the company wouldn’t let me take an extension lead from inside the proposed wardrobe due to their insurance cover. At that point he was very firmly asked to leave. What a pushy arrogant git. Can see why sales reps get a bad image based on him. Took Kilda for a nice walk in the gardens after and notice how the street lighting was coming into the garden. Managed to almost finish of the next holiday photo book before going to bed.
