Racing in the lanes

It was a typical showery Wellington day as the sun shone for a goodly part of it and The Boss just had to pop his jacket on once for about 10 minutes and my cover not at all...
The Bossess has decamped to Wanaka for 5 days so Tuss will be monetarily pleased to see her until she finds her not as much fun as being with her mates at Ripponvale.  
The Boss tried to get some tickets this morning for the Wanaka Festival Of Colour which is an annual event and was queued up on the website 5 minutes before the sale started. He was 133rd in the queue and an hour later was allowed to buy tickets for 2 of the 5 shows he had wanted.
This sorta happens every time and he really thinks the organisers need to sneeze and shake their brains up and increase the available shows for the popular stuff that mere mortals seem unable to get...I mean isn't that what show folk do if they are sold out before the sale starts?
