Milton Country Park

Necessity was the mother of invention. Bike needed a service, recommended bike shop is close to.Cambridge North station: so we sneaked the tandem 2 stops on the train (a doddle and no bother to anyone off-peak but technically not allowed), dropped it at the bike shop, and walked over to Milton Country Park for a day in the sunshine. The only shame was that they've closed the new at area in order to leg the grass properly re-establish, so it's just there temptingly visible but unusable. But we had some fun on the older play stuff anyway, and caught some Pokemon and had a long walk and shared a toastie and had ice creams. And then picked up the bike in late afternoon and cycled the 7 miles home. It feels a little faster - we'll see when we get back to the commute next week :)
