Not home

Today was a very high or very low tide. We opted to see the beach with the tide a long way out as it was the middle of the afternoon and I'm off this week. The extras are views showing how flat things are and how far you can walk, the main picture is the exoskeleton of a sand dwelling creature. You can see it has sand grains glued on to it. When it's covered with sea water I gather the animal fills the void and the filters the water for food.
