Complaining

There were hundreds of people of all ages enjoying the warm sunshine at Hollingworth Lake. I popped into the pub for some essential rehydration. I overheard three women, drinking cider, grumbling about the crowds and how they had been kept waiting. Their grievances seemed to be as follows:

1. It is the half-term holiday and many parents had brought their children out for the day.

2. Many of the people enjoying themselves today were not local - some having come from as far away as Manchester.

What miserable attitudes!
